Jocelyn Beatty Among Distinguished Artists at 55th Annual Waterfowl Festival

Vibrant hued birds, realistic country scenes and dramatic florals are captured in Jocelyn’s watercolor and acrylic paintings. She expresses her love of nature and luninous color, sharp details and strong compositions. Also, by using rich, saturated palette, she is able to create these originals.

In recent years, Jocelyn and Ken have traveled from Alaska to South America gathering reference material for her paintings.  After seeing the animals in their natural habitat, Jocelyn is able to capture the essence of the species in rich color, creating accurate and uniique works of art.

Jocelyn’s distinguished pieces have been shown in juried shows, exhibitions and solo shows, winning her numerous awards.  “Southeastern Wildlife Exposition”, Charleston, South Carolina, “Easton Waterfowl Festival”, Easton, Maryland and “Wild Wings Fall Festival”, Lake City, Minnesota are just some of the shows she has exhibited her work.  Recently, Beatty is sharing her talent by licensing her images throug Wild Wings. Her work can be found on fabric, puzzles, printss and even Cabela’s gift cards.
