Julia Purinton Among Distinguished Artists at 55th Annual Waterfowl Festival
Julia Purinton graduated from Harvard College with a degree in Fine Arts,
pursued a course of study at the School of Fine Arts in New York City, and now
divides her time between Baltimore, MD and Vermont’s Mad River Valley.
Purinton has maintained a focus on the natural world even as her style of
expression has changed and expanded..Her traditional work can be seen at
Egdewater Gallery in Middelbury, Vermont, Art 3 Gallery in Manchester, New
Hampshire and in diverse venues showing artwork in support of environmental
causes in both New England (Crane Estate Art Show) and the Mid-Atlantic
(Waterfowl Festival.) Her abstract paintings have been exhibited in numerous
public spaces, including the Burlington Airport and the University of Vermont
Medical Center.
