New Ewell Among Distinguished Artists at 55th Annual Waterfowl Festival
Born and raised in Maryland, the appreciation that Ned has for his home state is quite evident in many of his watercolors. He has always had a tremendous interest in wildlife and when not painting can be found enjoying the beautiful landscape that exists in Maryland.
Whether painting the marsh scenes of the Eastern shore, a cold hunting scene, the beach setting of Ocean City or upland game birds, Ned manages to capture the mood of every scene.
In 1985 his watercolor of Wood Ducks in Flight was given first prize at the Easton Waterfowl Festival and was used as the booklet cover for the following year.
Seeing all the incredible art work, reconnecting with old friends and volunteers is all part of the excitement of the Waterfowl Festival.
He has been exhibiting at the Festival since 1978.
Visitors can experience Ned Ewell’s work at the 55th Annual Waterfowl Festival in Easton, Maryland, this November.
