Cory James McLaughlin Among Distinguished Artists at 55th Annual Waterfowl Festival

I’ve been an artist for pretty much as long as I can remember. I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Studio Art from Southwestern University in Georgetown, TX in 2003. My emphasis is on waterfowl, which remains my favorite animal to paint or draw, however I have ventured out into a number of other animals and enjoy creating those images very much as well! I also do sporting art, so if you are interested in having a painting done of one of your favorite hunts or want to have me come and document a hunting or fishing trip with you to do a painting from, please feel free to contact me!

Welcome to my Wildlife art page, I’m artist Cory James McLaughlin, I reside in East Texas where I work as an artist. I spent many years growing up enjoying the outdoors, hunting and fishing. I’ve been an artist for pretty much as long as I can remember. I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Studio Art from Southwestern University in Georgetown, TX in 2003. I was trained in classical figurative painting, and so it has only been in the last couple of years that I have begun doing primarily wildlife art. My emphasis is on waterfowl, which remains my favorite animal to paint or draw, however I have ventured out into a number of other animals and enjoy creating those images very much as well! If you are interested in a painting, print or a commission please don’t hesitate to contact me. I also do sporting art, so if you are interested in having a painting done of one of your favorite hunts or want to have me come and document a hunting or fishing trip with you to do a painting from, please feel free to contact me
