Three’s A Crowd – Joe Seme
Three’s a Crowd, acrylic, Framed size: 13 x 25; Image size: 9 x 22
I have been a decoy collector since the 1970’s, and I use or have used many of my decoys in my paintings. This painting depicts three Bufflehead decoys made by my friend ‘Hurricane’ Pete Peterson, of Cape Charles, Virginia. These decoys were part of my personal hunting rig for many years, but are now retired. Two drakes and a hen, competing for the hen’s favors. Classic story of the “Eternal Triangle!”
